OK What happened to the color coded terror alert?

Or was it just a phoney way to keep the hype of terror higher?OK What happened to the color coded terror alert?
It was a good way to scare the public and make you believe the president was actually doing something useful... Guess what? The joke is over. =DOK What happened to the color coded terror alert?
It's still there.
It still appears on some news stations on the crawl below the picture.
Homeland Security realised that Bush could not tell the colours apart so they just changed the entire thing to this tagline,

';Be scared ... be very scared.';
basically, red and orange are the only ones i've ever heard and they make people think that it's SO bad.

where's the blue and green?
It's only needed when the media is reporting on something the politicians don't want revealed. Then it's time to up the alert level to divert the news coverage to non-specific threats against non-specific areas on non-specific dates.
they ran out of markers
There is no reason to ';hype'; terror. Al-Qaeda does pretty well at promoting themselves each time they release a new tape. Although I guess in your mind all these recordings are made by Bush and his administration...
The homeland security secretary, Chertof uses his gut. After Mike told us of this early warning system he has there has been no need for the color graph.
Oh please! It's subjective anyway. Granted we are supposed to trust those in charge that even though their opinion on the danger is biased they still have the knowledge to evaluate the issue. No one knows what will happen and by who's hand since the ONLY way we would know is to be able to read minds. Blah! Scare tactic indeed. It's just a way to increase a nationwide prejudice.
I barely ever hear anything about the terror alert since I quit watching Fox News...Seemed like they were always waving in your face ';danger! danger!';. I don't even know what the 'terror alert level' is now, and I don't care.
its on stand by i guess lol
Heh, we know Bella should get ';Best Answer';.... I just can't answer any better than that. But I'll try...

It was just simply a brainwashing tool used to keep you focused on the ';terror threat'; long enough to allow Bush to finish what his dad started in Iraq.

It was sponsored by Crayola and the sponsorship ran out.
It is great to see that most people see right through all this bull****.

We used to have the same sort of government in Australia but we got rid of them a few months ago.
I think most people finally realized what a farce it was and were just laughing at it. So they no longer display it.
It will make a reappearance when the elites need to scare ppl again.
you mean this one.
