And seniors who eat fish at least twice weekly are almost half as likely to have AMD than those who eat fish less than once a week.
So say Johanna Seddon, MD, and colleagues in July's Archives of Ophthalmology. Seddon works at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, which is affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Halfway around the world in Australia, other experts found that age-related macular problems are rarer in people whose diets are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are found in fish, including salmon and mackerel, as well as flax seeds and walnuts.

Seddon's team studied data from 681 individual male twins in their mid-70s who were World War II veterans. The group included 222 men with intermediate- or late-stage AMD and 459 with early or no AMD.
The men completed questionnaires about their smoking history, alcohol use, physical activity, diets, and use of multivitamins and supplements.
';Current smokers had a 1.9-fold increased risk of AMD while past smokers had about a 1.7-fold increased risk'; of AMD, compared with nonsmokers, the researchers write.
The study also shows that men with the highest fish consumption (at least two weekly servings) were 45% less likely to have AMD than those with the lowest fish consumption (less than one weekly serving).

When it comes to reducing AMD risk, striking the right fatty acid balance might be important, note Seddon and colleagues.
In their study, the reduced AMD risk was mainly seen in people who consumed high levels of omega-3 fatty acids and low levels of an omega-6 fatty acid called linoleic acid, which is found in vegetable oils including corn, safflower, and sunflower.
Seddon and colleagues aren't against omega-6 fatty acids. But they note that a lot of people consume way too much omega-6 fatty acids, compared with omega-3 fatty acids.
';The ideal omega-6/omega-3 ratio is 3:1 to 4:1,'; Seddon's team writes.
';However, the average American's diet has an omega-6/omega-3 ratio that ranges from 10:1 to 50:1 鈥?Our results suggest that when our diet is rich in these omega-6 fatty acids (as measured here by linoleic acid), the protective effect of omega-3 fatty acids is dampened.';

Man i love the garand for its accuracy but its slow reload and rate of fire are a big negative.

NO there is a huge difference. A part from the actual feel of the controls, the leveling system has been hugely improved.
There are more weapons and there is the ability to customize different classes to suit how you play. You can chose a main and secondary weapon along with the types of grenades you want to use. there are also ';perks'; which improve certain aspects like how power full the gun is or how long you can sprint for. With each level you gain there is also a chance of unlocking new perks to use, and every time you hit a certain amount of kills with a weapon there is a new ';upgrade'; for it unlocked.
Along with plenty of different online game modes including search and destroy and headquarters, all of this makes a huge change from COD3 and I definitely recommend it.

I have a package coming that is COD for over $4000. It is being shipped via fedEx. I was curious if they will allow you to open the package, and inspect everything prior to giving them the payment. Hi. How do i pick up grenades from the bodies of the people i kill in multiplayer? The best is Mayflower Beach in Dennis. There are so many tide pools and sand bars. The sand is beautiful. I was recently there with my family and we had 15 kids all together and they loved the beach. You can find sand dollars and hermit crabs there. The water doesn't just drop off and go deep..it goes out for miles. My daughter is 4 and loved this beach. 1. It is a good size (not too big).
2. It is on the bay side, so no huge waves.
3. During low tide you can walk for miles to collect shells, hermit crabs,etc.

5. There are both bathrooms and a concession stand.
I spent almost every summer there as kid. It is close to some great shopping, dining, lodging, mini-golf, etc. It is also close to Nauset Beach on the ocean side, if the kids wanted big waves on some days. Nauset Beach also has bathrooms and a concession stand.
The bay is best if you want to supervise them minimally at times. The tide goes way out and there are small tidepools. Great for your 4 year old to splash around, your 7 year old to splash or look for the creatures left behind. When the tide comes in you know where the bottom is (doesn't just drop off ). Check out low tide (you are looking for the left side of the cape (wellfleet, sesuit, etc)) and then check out the webcam to get an idea. There are parking fees at the lots to the bays but they are good all day so you can come and go to any of the lots (bay, pond, etc) in that particular town (town lots, National Seashore is a seperate charge)

Use either Type 100 or MP40 with Bouncing Bettys, Stopping Power and Extreme Conditioning. Its well easy because the guns are lightweight and you can sprint faster to people and the stopping power increases your damage. Try it and also what console are you on ? Mm, well im a sneaky bugger, and alot of people get caught out trying to just head straight to the red dots once some one gets recon. Just give this a go, but don't do it on Dome or close quarters, because they just see you anyways. ( ps this setting is great for capture flag )

Betties ( especially in CTF )
Any vehicle perks, reloading the quickest ( cant remember name ) is the best way though.
Just give this a go, and see how you fare, you should get around 2 or 3-1 ( kill to death ratio ), until you get good at it.
Once you get PPSH, your in with the big dogs, best weapon in the game in my opinion, but make sure once you get it put bandolier on.
You have to customize your loadout to your fighting style. If you can track on to your target quickly and be the other guy to the draw I like a gehwer and rifle grenade Some people are the Pray and spray and just throw mad lead and hope it hits the target they should use PPSH or 50. cal You need to find out why you are getting your butt handed to you and work on being better in that situation. If you just all around suck, maybe you should try Lego's Indiana Jones Just playing!

a couple of Tablespoons of Veggie oil and unsalted butter until golden brown.
Turn once during cooking.

Coat the rack of a broiling pan with cooking spray. Place the cod on the rack, folding under any thin edges of the filets. Brush with the egg white, then spoon the crumb mixture evenly on top.

Well mine is a 1.20 now, but that's with learning how to play the game and also having my friends play on my account which decreases my k/d ratio. If I started a new account I would probably have a 3.0 or 3.5 k/d, but COD gets old if your like me, and its too easy when playing on public matches. As of how many people are still on COD4, I haven't had any problem finding a game, so you shouldn't either.

You can give them cod oil. I prefer flax seed oil and have given it to every dog I have ever owned (several of which were long haired) but never continually.. It is very good for their coats and for their joints (it acts as a lubricant). That being said if you're feeding a quality food and getting the dog groomed on a regular basis you shouldn't need it unless the pup has a deficiency. I just recently ordered Gears 2 and was wondering is it really worth it? I hear some people finish the campaign in less than 10 hours and the multiplayer is really slow because the jammmed servers.

Gears of war 2 is hands down one of the best games i've played in a while. Call of Duty:WAW is pretty good too put if u had to make a decision between one of those two, I'd go with COD:WAW if it has prestige mode. Prestige mode makes the replay value of the the online gameplay worthwhile. Saints Row is also another good game. I believe its under $20 now so it wouldnt hurt too much to buy it.Is Gears of war 2 and Cod:WAR really worth it?

Call of Duty 4 is better than Halo 3, if you think about it. Call of Duty 4 is much MORE real than Halo 3 and there are challenges, perk and real weapons to unlock with. Call of Duty 4 will keep many First Person Shooter fan entertaining as there so many challenge to unlock and you can unlock a golden crosshair if you restart your level again (which means do the challenge things again and lost all the weapon you unlock) and redo it all again. There just so much feature in Call of Duty 4, I can't explain them all.

personally, i love the m4 because of its fire rate and accuracy. but i suggest playing withthe m4, the mp5 the m16( with stopping power and no juggernaut its a one shot kill) and the p90. the ak is good but recoils alot and in my opinion the other assault and submachines suck
