Is the multiplayer in COD WaW the same as COD 3?

I really liked COD and I'm thinking of getting it (mostly for the online)


But if the online is the same for WaW... then might as well get it instead..Is the multiplayer in COD WaW the same as COD 3?
NO there is a huge difference. A part from the actual feel of the controls, the leveling system has been hugely improved.





There are more weapons and there is the ability to customize different classes to suit how you play. You can chose a main and secondary weapon along with the types of grenades you want to use. there are also ';perks'; which improve certain aspects like how power full the gun is or how long you can sprint for. With each level you gain there is also a chance of unlocking new perks to use, and every time you hit a certain amount of kills with a weapon there is a new ';upgrade'; for it unlocked.





Along with plenty of different online game modes including search and destroy and headquarters, all of this makes a huge change from COD3 and I definitely recommend it.

The gameplay in CoD: World at War is exactally the same as CoD4: Modern Warfare, they use the same game engine.





CoD: World at War's gameplay is nothing like the poor CoD3 gameplay.
No, not at all. It is a totally different experience. You can pick whatever weapons you want, customize them choose a lot more types of online games.
